Blended Multilogues in Higher Education: Train-the-trainer event
Train-the-trainer event on 24 September 2024, 10 am–4 pm
Want to spice up your teaching? Join us at Leuphana for an all-day event that introduces you to the concept of “blended multilogues”. It shows the recommended steps to design a multilogue learning experience, regardless of whether this is a single class or a regular university course.
The multilogue is a learning format venturing beyond traditional classroom methods and hierarchies. It gathers people from academia and beyond that are affected by a given topic, so they can share their expertise and opinions. Multilogues encourage critical thinking and community engagement. Creating “blended” or hybrid multilogues lowers the threshold to invite participants – but also poses a set of technological and organisational challenges.
Just as a blended multilogue, this event – taught in English – will accommodate in-person and online participants (spaces limited). There is no event fee; food and beverages will be provided free of charge to on-site participants. It is part of the project “Blended Multilogues: Enhancing Transformation and Innovation in Higher Education”, co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
