Does a prompting challenge work in teaching? How is the virtual consultation being received? And has anyone ever tried using gamification to increase motivation to learn? These and similar questions come up again and again in everyday teaching and learning. This shows that the digital transformation of universities is not being developed centrally on the drawing board, but is being implemented every day in many areas of study practice – often according to the motto “trial and error”.

Since 2017, Hochschulforum Digitalisierung has therefore been inviting everyone who is involved in digitalization at universities in any way to come togetherat HFDcon to discuss current issues relating to the digitalization of university teaching, share personal experiences from practice and promote good practices.

As experts in their field, the participants themselves design a large part of the participatory conference program, just as possible thematic focuses are selected based on suggestions from the community.
