Student Assistant (M/W/D) HFD Innovation Hub

15-20 hours

Berlin / remote

as of now

  • You will contribute to the agile development of the Innovation Hub as an experimental space for the co-creative development of prototypical solutions in the context of digitalization in studying and teaching.
  • You will support the conception, execution and follow-up of Innovation Hub activities (e.g. project kick-offs, (online) workshops) and implementation support.
  • Communicate independently with HFD partners and community members.
  • You will develop presentations, website texts and other creative communication measures in coordination with the team.
  • You will support general administrative tasks independently.

  • You are studying at a university and want to use and develop your skills and experience in an innovative network project at the interface between science, politics and business.
  • You have a high level of enthusiasm, creativity, organizational skills and personal responsibility.
  • You have initial experience in the use of innovation methods (e.g. design thinking) and are interested in learning new methods and applying them effectively.
  • Ideally, you have experience with graphic design and corresponding programs (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or similar).
  • You enjoy planning and executing interactive and innovative event formats.
  • You enjoy copywriting (e.g., website and blog posts).
  • They are highly reliable even during labor-intensive phases.
  • Ideally, you will have initial experience and skills in the areas of university political involvement and networking.
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and the very collegial work in a team and with project partners.
  • A professional appearance and strong communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken, are a matter of course for you.

Student Assistant (M/W/D) HFD Strategy Consulting

  • You will support the peer-to-peer strategy consulting team at the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung in accompanying universities in their strategic engagement with digitalization in teaching and learning.
  • You will support the conception, organization, execution and follow-up of (online) workshops for different stakeholder groups.
  • You will take joint responsibility for the documentation of appointments and workshops.
  • You will share responsibility for developing and editing recommendation reports for universities and HFD publications.
  • You will develop appropriate texts and presentations in coordination with the responsible program managers (m/f/d).
  • Communicate independently with HDF partners and community members.
  • You will assist with general administrative activities.

  • You are studying at a university and want to use and develop your skills and experience in an innovative network project at the interface between science, politics and business.
  • You bring a high level of analytical skills, strategic thinking and personal responsibility.
  • You have excellent time and self-management skills, goal-oriented work and good comprehension skills.
  • You enjoy planning and implementing interactive and innovative exchange and workshop formats.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of the higher education and science system, particularly with regard to digitization in teaching and learning, and are interested in learning more about these topics.
