Claes Asker is the CIO of Karlstad University and is responsible for IT governance and strategies. He is also a member of the Project Office Rethink:Kau. Claes was some years ago head of Educational Technology at the university and has a lot of hands on knowledge in applying technology as pedagogical tools. Claes has a medical engineering background, as well as web development, and experienced early the importance of understanding human’s interaction with technology.
