Simulation games – Using digitization for learning international collaboration competencies. Part II, A closer look
NIDIT (Network for Impactful Digital International Teaching Skills) will host a talk about simulation games.
An increasingly interdependent world requires globally competent professionals: Collaboration is taking place in virtual teams across national, age, gender and educational boundaries. This requires intercultural and digital competencies.
In this presentation, we will show you how we promote these competencies in the virtual simulation games “Megacities” and “Bilangon” and the Escape Room “Veeril”.
On November 2nd, we take a closer look behind the scenes:
We explore the question of what exactly intercultural learning processes look like and what we can do as teachers and facilitators to make them as intensive and instructive as possible. We look at concrete examples from the simulation games and discuss together which group processes become effective here and which parallels you find in your cooperation with students.
