Simulation games – Using digitization for learning international collaboration competencies. Part I, Introduction
An increasingly interdependent world requires globally competent professionals: Collaboration is taking place in virtual teams across national, age, gender and educational boundaries. This requires intercultural and digital competencies.
In this presentation, we will show you how we promote these competencies in the virtual simulation games “Megacities” and “Bilangon” and the Escape Room “Veeril”.
On October 25th, I will give you a first introduction: We will talk about how to learn intercultural competence in a holistic way and how we promote it in our online learning activities. We will focus on the simulation games Megacities and Bilangon and we will tell you about the scenario and how the process of such a simulation game looks like, how is it organized and how you can you participate with a group of students.
