The subject of mechanical engineering makes a decisive contribution to promoting the next generation of engineers for Germany as an industrial location. In general, and here in particular, moving with the times is crucial to continue guaranteeing good teaching and learning. What approaches have already been thought up and tested and what opportunities are available, or what challenges this discipline in particular is facing in connection with digitally supported, will be examined by the DiF working group on mechanical engineering from the different perspectives of the status groups of the universities. A handout is intended to provide a low-threshold overview for all representatives of the teaching and support institutions of the subject culture.

In doing so, she works closely with the HFD’s departmental counsel.
