OER Fundamentals and Practical Use Cases | twillo
This OER basics workshop is part of twillo’s English educational offerings. It is open to anyone interested.
Open Educational Resources (OER) are open educational materials that can be used and redistributed free of charge. As they allow adaptation to specific teaching and learning contexts and (collaborative) further development, OER can support the design of educational programs that see learners as active producers of knowledge.
In this workshop, you’ll first learn about the most important (legal) fundamentals for using and creating open educational resources. The core of the workshop focuses on the practical design of open teaching and learning scenarios. Using real-world examples, you’ll discuss the opportunities and challenges of open education and learn how to effectively integrate OER into the planning, delivery, and follow-up phases of teaching. In addition, you’ll gain a better understanding of the functions and features of our portal www.twillo.de.
