The next European Learning & Teaching Forum will take place from February 17th - 18th 2022 at the University of Deusto, in Bilbao, Spain. The forum offers all participants the opportunity to exchange their expierences and on-going developments concerning learning and teaching at European universities. This year's theme is "On site, online, on point?".
Reflecting on the digital future of European higher education, many questions remain: Looking beyond the trend of the moment, how can new technologies really enhance learning and teaching? How can digitalisation be embedded in a university’s culture in a way that serves the institution’s strategic objectives? How can the potential of digitalisation be harnessed to increase equity of access to learning? What will the implications be for internationalisation? These and many other questions will be at the heart of the event.
The forum builds upon the work of the EUA (European University Association) with its member universities on this topic. Alongside the bottom-up approach, the Forum makes use of EUA’s extensive policy work in European higher education, to discuss current developments in European digitalization. The forum is an ideal event to get in touch and network with teaching and learning stakeholders of the complex European higher education system.
The European Learning & Teaching Forum still accepts proposals for papers, workshops and practice presentations. Follow the Call for Contribution and send in your proposals until October 4th. You can find the draft program here.
