The University:Future Festival goes new, digital ways!

The University:Future Festival takes place completely digitally. The year 2020 has fundamentally changed higher education. Technology and innovative application concepts have become an essential part of everyday university life. This is where we draw our motivation for this year’s festival: a look back at the digital summer semester 2020 – and above all a look forward to the future of higher education.

For three days, we bring together professors, students, university management and other stakeholders from universities, politics and society and create a platform for exchange on digital higher education.

The festival consists of three programme days:

Tuesday, 06.10. – BarCamp: In the free BarCamp format participants can discuss all relevant topics.

Wednesday, 07.10. – Conference Day: In four parallel livestreams, German and international experts will talk about higher education after 2020.

Thursday, 08.10. – Workshop day: In longer workshops, participants work together on products and learn from each other.

Call for Participation!

The program of the University:Future Festival is mainly fed by the submissions of the community. We are looking for contributions that reveal surprising insights, that convey practical experiences, that are eye-opening, exciting and entertaining.

Until July 31st you can apply for our Call for Participation with all digitally conceivable and realisable lecture and workshop formats. Further calls for the virtual marketplace as well as for creative interventions are currently in progress. We are looking forward to your submissions!

You will find all further information about your participation possibilities on our festival website!

Let´s Get Digital!

A changed format also means a great challenge for us, but above all the chance to break new ground. All the more we are happy to present our new website today as the central platform of the University:Future Festival! In the coming weeks and months the program and the participating speakers will be published here successively! Stay Tuned!
