Erasmus+ Digitalisation Projects Lab

Das Hochschulforum Digitalisierung bietet ein zweitägiges Projects Lab für Mitarbeiter:innen von deutschen Hochschulinstitutionen an, in dem Teilnehmende Orienteriung und Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Förderanträgen für Erasmus+ erhalten. Der Workshop findet auf Englisch statt, daher folgen die detailierten Informationen zu diesem Termin ebenfalls in englischer Sprache.

Projects Lab: Workshop for German HEIs

In order to support German HEIs who are considering applying for Erasmus+ funding for digitalisation projects, Hochschulforum Digitalisierung will offer an Erasmus+ Digitalisation Projects Lab, in which participants will learn more about the topics of digitalisation and Erasmus+, and what is needed in order to submit a successful project application.

The workshop will take place during two half-day sessions: Thursday, the 9th of December and Friday the 10th of December, both days 09:30 - 13:00. There will also be an optional follow-up session in February, exact day and time to be announced.

All sessions will take place fully online and be in English. The agenda will include both information sessions and interactive working sessions.

The workshop is free of charge.

Background: Digitalisation in Erasmus+

In the new (2021-2027) Erasmus+ Programme, digitalisation plays a very important role. Digital Transformation is one of the four key priorities, next to Inclusion and Diversity; Environment and fight against climate change;  Participation in democratic life (See the Erasmus+ Programme Guide for more information). Also, two of the Higher-Education-specific priorities are related to digitalisation.

Next year (2022), there will be possibilities for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to apply for the usual cooperation partnerships (which until last year were called “strategic partnerships”) but also likely for “forward-looking cooperation projects” (“Zukunftsweisende Kooperationsprojekte”) which have existed in the past but for which there was no call last year. The exact deadlines for the calls are not yet clear, but the cooperation partnerships will likely be in April.

Target Group(s)

The workshop is targeted at International Relations Offices, teachers, leadership, other staff or anyone working at a German HEI who is interested in submitting an Erasmus+ application in the field of digitalisation. The Projects Lab is exclusively for members of German HEIs.

For now, this will be in English only. Questions can be asked in German. Depending on the interest, there may be a workshop in German in 2022.
